It’s all about connection
My couples become my friends, pretty much right off the bat. Spending time truly getting to know you two and what your vision is for your day is my top priority in the months leading up to your wedding so that on the actual day there is so much trust, understanding, and vulnerability established that the photos that naturally come from that are *chef’s kiss.* I’m not your vendor; I’m your friend, and I’ll be your biggest cheerleader from day one.

are we a match?
I only take on a handful of weddings per year, and I’m very intentional about the ones I do because it’s so important to me that the mutual connection and excitement are there. I can’t stress this enough: it’s so important that we are a match. Wedding days are filled with intimate and vulnerable moments, and if you can show me your heart, I’ll give it right back to you on film.
My Approach
Documentary, editorial, fine art—there’s a lot of buzz words in this industry, and everyone has a different description for each one. Here’s the real talk when it comes to my work and how I approach a wedding day: I’m there for the realness and to capture moments and how they actually felt. I’m also there to make you feel comfortable and confident. I direct you as much as I feel like you need it without constructing unrealistic or forced moments.
documentary photos, editorial feel
When you look back on your gallery, I want you to remember exactly how you felt at each point during the day, and I want your images to look and feel like they belong on the cover of your favorite magazine. Most importantly, I want you to be present throughout the day. The most beautiful images are the ones that occur naturally—your nephew on your Mimi’s lap before the ceremony, your partner’s hand on your back as they guide you around the cocktail hour—those are the images you might not remember but will cherish having them documented forever.
