These two booked one of my Valentine’s Day mini sessions and I was so pumped to photograph them from the very second Tat inquired – she was the first to, by the way.

They met doing what they love – filmmaking. Actually, as I type this, they are currently in a van traveling across the country picking up video gigs as they go. So damn cool.

However, Tat and I go way back – all the way back to our softball in elementary school days. So it was so fun to catch up with her and be able to witness in person this special person and connection she’s found. 

I’m pretty lucky and have the best clients ever who are always down to get a little funky and creative, and Tat & Jackson most definitely were down. I appreciate their willingness to be so vulnerable and open with me.

I’d say the creative risk paid off – most definitely.
